Fotografía callejera (Street Photo) : ¿Qué puedo decir acerca de la fotografía en la calle?. Simplemente me fascina. No puedes planear pero debes estar preparado. No puedes pensar en qué vas a hacer sino que debes tener una mente ágil para capturar el momento. Todo lo que puedes hacer es seguir tu mirada y tener un dedo rápido... y no tener miedo de acercarte a extraños.

What can I say about street photo? I just like it. You just can't plan it but you have to be prepared. You can't think ahead but you have to be a fast thinker to capture the moment. All you can do is to follow your eyes and have a quick finger... and not being afraid of approaching strange people. Images taken in Monterrey, Merida, San Miguel de Allende, and Queretaro in Mexico.

Christmas Lights : Luces de navidad en las calles de Monterrey y Querétaro.

I have been asked before why all the pictures in my Christmas Lights series are so badly focused. There can be three explanations: one, the D70 can't focus on low light; two, I have an eyesight problem; or three, it is my artistic rendering. According to Occam's Razor principle which states that one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed, the answer is simple: Unfocusing is intentional.

That said, I wanted to capture my mixed feelings towards the christmas season.
